Sports Injury

Pregnancy & Postpartum

Posture & Desk Strain

Auto Accident Recovery

Don't see what you're dealing with? Call (801) 555-0492 — we'll tell you straight whether we can help.

How We Treat

Four tools.
Used together.

Every visit pulls from these. We don't do ten-minute pop-ins; appointments run 30 to 45 minutes so we can actually fix the cause.

Chiropractic treatment

Spinal Adjustment

20 min

Gentle, targeted adjustments to restore joint mobility and reduce nerve interference. We use diversified, drop-table, and instrument-assisted techniques — never one-size-fits-all.

Soft Tissue Therapy

15–25 min

Hands-on myofascial release and trigger-point work to address the muscle pattern causing the joint problem. Pairs with adjustments for lasting results.

Spinal Decompression

20 min

Mechanical traction for disc-related lower back and neck issues. Comfortable, drug-free, and well-supported by research for radiating pain.

Movement Rehab

15 min

Custom corrective exercises so the fix actually sticks. Filmed in-office so you have a reference at home — three to five moves, ten minutes a day.

About Dr. Chen

No prepaid packages.
No 36-visit plans.

I'm Dr. Chen. I opened FormFit in 2019 after seven years working in mixed sports-and-rehab clinics. I started this practice because most patients want two things: get out of pain quickly, and learn what to do so it doesn't come back.

We don't sell prepaid packages. We don't tell patients they need 36 visits. Most people get meaningful relief in three to six visits, and the rest is a movement plan.

My background is in athletic injury and prenatal care. I'm Webster-certified for pregnancy adjustments and have spent the last eight years working with runners, climbers, lifters, and post-op rehab. Whatever your body does for a living, I've probably treated it.

First Visit

What to expect on day one.

01

Quick paperwork

Done online before you arrive — about 5 minutes. Includes your insurance info if you'd like us to verify benefits.

02

Conversation + exam

We talk through what's going on, when it started, and what you've already tried. Then a movement-based exam to find the actual cause.

03

Treatment same visit

If we can help, we treat that day. Adjustment, soft tissue work, and a couple of movements you can take home.

04

Honest plan

Before you leave, you'll know exactly how many visits we're recommending, what each visit will cost, and what to do between them.

"Most patients leave their first visit feeling notably better and knowing exactly what we're doing next."

Patients

From the people we actually treated.

"I've seen four chiros over fifteen years for chronic lower-back issues. Dr. Chen did more in three visits than the last guy did in six months. She actually showed me the two movements I'd been doing wrong in the gym — that was the fix."

Brandon F.

Runner, treated for IT band + lower back

"I was nervous about chiropractic during pregnancy. Dr. Chen is Webster-certified and explained every adjustment before doing it. My SI pain in the third trimester was completely manageable thanks to the work we did. Coming back postpartum."

Hannah O.

Treated through pregnancy, 2024

"Tension headaches three afternoons a week from sitting at a desk. Two months in, I'm down to maybe one a month and only when I'm dehydrated. Office is calm, never feels rushed, no upsell."

Devon M.

Software engineer, neck + headaches

Common Questions

Honest answers,
no jargon.

Does an adjustment hurt? +

No. The adjustment itself takes a fraction of a second and most patients describe it as a release of pressure, not pain. Your muscles may feel a little worked the next day — like after a good workout — and that's normal.

How many visits will I need? +

Most acute issues resolve in 3 to 6 visits. Chronic patterns sometimes take longer, but we'll tell you our plan before your second visit. We don't sell prepaid packages and we don't recommend visits you don't need.

Do you take my insurance? +

We accept BCBS, SelectHealth, Aetna, Cigna, UMR, and most auto/PI cases. We verify benefits before your first visit so you'll know your copay and deductible status going in. Cash rate is $75; new patient first visit is $125.

Is chiropractic safe during pregnancy? +

Yes — Dr. Chen is Webster-certified, the technique designed specifically for prenatal care. We see women throughout pregnancy and into postpartum. Adjustments are gentle, side-lying when needed, and tailored to your trimester.

Do you treat kids? +

Yes. Pediatric adjustments are extremely gentle (think the pressure you'd use to test a ripe avocado) and we see kids for everything from torticollis to sports injuries. Parents stay in the room.

I'm post-op or have a serious condition. Can you still help? +

Often, yes — but we'll always coordinate with your surgeon or specialist first. Bring your imaging and surgical notes. If we're not the right provider, we'll tell you and refer.

How fast can I get in? +

New patient appointments usually open within a week. We hold a few same-day slots each day for acute pain — call before 10am if you need today.
